120mm Width
120mm concrete sleepers are built for heavy duty residential and commercial retaining walls. Sized as length x 200 x 120, they run on 150 Heavy Duty series posts, the system rated to 4.5m with engineer approval.

Built for bigger loads
120mm is the workhorse of the heavy duty end of our range. The extra section over 100mm buys margin on taller walls, surcharged ground and commercial sites, while still leaving the premium 130mm and 150mm widths above it for specialist engineered work.

- Commercial and civil retaining walls where the engineer specifies extra section
- Tall residential walls heading toward the 4.5m system limit, always with engineer approval

Specification
Every 120mm sleeper is steel reinforced with N10 or N12 bar and AS3600 compliant, in 40, 50 or 60MPa strengths depending on the line. Certified ranges carry an engineer certified 50 year lifespan, with a 20 year warranty on specific sizes. Taller walls in this class need sign off, so factor our engineering process into your program early.
Site handling and freight
Sleeper weights at 120mm are well past two person lifting, so plan machine handling from delivery through to placement. Freight runs Australia wide from our VIC, NSW, QLD and SA yards and forklift access is required at the delivery point.

Should I choose 100mm or 120mm? Both pair with 150 Heavy Duty posts, so the answer comes from your engineer’s design: wall height, soil type and any surcharge decide the section. If you are still scoping, the calculator is the quickest starting point.
