Why charcoal leads the range
Charcoal reads as a deliberate design choice where plain grey reads as raw concrete, yet it stays neutral enough to sit against almost any fence, render or garden palette. That is why it has become the default for modern Australian builds and why we stock more charcoal products than any other colour.
Four face patterns, one colour
- Smooth: flat, clean and minimalist, also used for under fence plinths.
- Woodgrain: timber look texture with none of the rot, including timberlook and driftwood styles.
- Stackstone: stacked stone masonry look for feature walls.
- Rockface: split stone texture that hides scuffs, a favourite for street facing walls.

Common questions
Will charcoal fade or peel? No. The colour is in the concrete itself, not painted on, so there is nothing to peel and no repainting cycle.
Will every sleeper match exactly? Minor batch to batch variation is normal for concrete. Order all sleepers for one wall together where possible, and use the retaining wall calculator to get the quantity right first time.
