Splitface Concrete Sleepers

Splitface concrete sleepers copy the broken, rough-hewn face of split natural stone. The Sandstone colour uses a yellow oxide for an authentic sandstone look; Charcoal gives the same texture in a dark modern tone. Both sit in our Queensland 50MPa range, reinforced with 2x N10 bars and made for Queensland soil conditions and rainfall. From $47.86 per sleeper.

Sizes stocked: 1585x200x75, 2000x200x75 and 2400x200x75, weighing 65 to 85kg by length. The textured face is on the front, with a flat rear for backfill.

Splitface is the most heavily textured option in the QLD 50MPa line. For a flatter coursed-block look in similar tones, see the Sandstone Block sleepers; for a fine slate finish, the Featurestone sleepers. Full range: QLD concrete sleepers.

Is the sandstone colour painted on?

No. The colour comes from oxide mixed through the concrete face, so it does not peel or flake, and minor batch-to-batch variation is normal for an oxide finish. Order the whole wall together where possible.

How heavy are they to handle?

65 to 85kg depending on length, so plan two people or machine assistance. Deliveries arrive stacked on wooden bearers with forklift unload standard and crane truck on request.

Pickup or delivery in Queensland?

Both. Collect from Brendale QLD 4500, Beenleigh QLD 4207 or the Acacia Ridge warehouse at 38 Loam St, or have us deliver across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba.
