UC post options for NSW walls
Sydney customers choose the UC series by sleeper thickness and wall height. 100UC posts at 14.2kg/m pair with 75-80mm sleepers on walls to about 1.8 metres, covering most residential terraces and boundaries. 150UC posts in 23, 30 and 37 weights pair with 100-120mm sleepers and are certified for walls to 4.5 metres with engineer approval. Engineered and commercial NSW projects step up to 200UC46 posts, quoted from drawings. Matching concrete sleepers and PFC end posts complete the wall.

NSW steel is held at Wetherill Park in western Sydney, which also services Canberra and regional NSW alongside our Victorian network. Delivery runs on external transport, so sites need forklift access; otherwise collect from the warehouse. Trade customers ordering through the trade portal get a 72-hour delivery promise on paid orders or next-day pickup, which suits NSW installers running back-to-back jobs.
Compliance for NSW councils
All UC posts are hot-dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 and ACRS compliant, supporting designs prepared to AS4678 and AS4100. NSW councils typically require certified engineering for walls above threshold heights or near boundaries and driveways.
