Where the 200 series fits
The 200 Premium Strength Series is the top tier of our steel post range. 200UC46 H-beams weigh 46.2kg per metre and serve as intermediate posts carrying sleepers on both flanges. 200PFC C-channel posts close off the ends of each wall run. These sections suit commercial projects, walls carrying driveway or building surcharge, and any design where an engineer has specified members beyond the 150 Heavy Duty series. All posts are hot-dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 and ACRS compliant, supplied welded or non-welded and cut to size.
Ordering from engineering drawings
200 series orders are quoted from engineering drawings rather than off-the-shelf tables. Your engineer specifies post section, embedment and centres; we supply to that specification. RWS does not provide engineering services, so if you are still at design stage, start with our engineering guidance. Once drawings are locked in, send them through and we will return an itemised quote covering posts, matching concrete sleepers and delivery.
Supply and delivery Australia-wide
Stock ships from our national warehouse network, including Wetherill Park in Sydney, Brendale and Acacia Ridge in Brisbane, Lonsdale in Adelaide and three Victorian steel warehouses. Delivery uses external transport, so a forklift-accessible site is required. Trade customers ordering through the trade portal get a 72-hour delivery promise on paid orders or next-day pickup.
Do 200 series posts need engineer approval?
Yes. 200UC46 and 200PFC posts are supplied for engineered walls, and every order is quoted directly from certified engineering drawings. Councils generally require certified designs for high or surcharged walls, so engage an engineer before ordering.
Can 200 series posts be cut to custom lengths?
Yes. All our steel posts, including 200UC46 H-beams and 200PFC end posts, are cut to size to match the embedment and exposed heights on your drawings, then hot-dip galvanised for long-term corrosion protection.
