Kensington is the signature patterned sleeper of our Adelaide range: a stackstone face in charcoal that gives a retaining wall the look of stacked masonry from a single steel-reinforced sleeper. Adelaide is home turf for this range. Kensington sleepers are manufactured at the Lonsdale SA 5160 factory yard, where concrete batches are independently tested twice a week, so SA buyers get factory-fresh stock, pickup from Lonsdale by appointment, and delivery across Adelaide metro.
Adelaide stock runs to a maximum 2.4m length, in six sizes:

Kensington belongs to the 60MPa SA certified range and carries a 20-year manufacturer warranty on selected sizes. Within the Adelaide line-up it is the premium feature-wall option; the rock-face McLaren offers a bolder texture and the timber-look Ashwood a softer one, all in the same charcoal family so ranges can be mixed across a landscape design.
Which face shows when installed?
The stackstone pattern is cast on one face. Install pattern-side out; the rear face is smooth, which is also useful where a wall is visible from both sides on a boundary.
What posts do Kensington sleepers need?
Thickness drives the post choice: 75 to 80mm sleepers pair with lighter sections, 100mm and up with heavier ones. See our Adelaide steel posts and we will confirm the pairing for your wall height.
How heavy are they to handle?
The 2.4m thick sleepers are a genuine two-person lift. A sleeper grab is the standard tool for placing them safely between posts.
