The 150 UC 23 H beam is the mid-run post for heavy duty sleeper walls in our Sydney range. The H section takes a sleeper bay in each side at every join, and the 23 designation is its nominal weight, about 23 kilograms per metre on a section around 152 x 152mm, which is the step up in stiffness that 100mm+ sleepers and taller retained heights demand. Lengths run from 600mm to 4800mm in 200mm increments, priced from $54, hot dip galvanised throughout.
In the range it sits above the 100 UC 14 (for 75 to 80mm sleepers and garden walls) and works alongside the 150 TFC channel, which closes the ends and step-downs of the same walls. Heavy duty NSW sleepers like the 100 to 130mm Lonsdale, Blackwood and Kensington sizes are its natural pairing.

How heavy are these to handle?
At roughly 23kg per metre, a 3m post is around 70kg: plan for two people or machine assistance on site, and a forklift or crane truck at delivery. Tell us about tight access when booking.
Sydney lead times?
