A 90 degree corner post joins two runs of sleeper wall at a right angle in a single galvanised post: both wall directions slot their sleepers into the one upright, which keeps the corner square, fully engaged and free of site fabrication. On a typical rectangular Sydney backyard, one wall along the boundary and one return means one of these per corner. Lengths run from 600mm to 3000mm in 200mm increments, priced from $48.
These are 100 series posts for 75 to 80mm sleepers. They pair with the 100 TFC straight channel posts for the rest of the run, and the 45 degree corner post handles splayed angles. All are hot dip galvanised for corrosion life that painted or raw steel cannot match.
What length corner post do I need?
Corner posts are sized like straight posts: as a rule of thumb the post is about double the retained height so enough is concreted in below ground, with the exact embedment set by your engineering. A 600mm wall typically uses a 1200mm post.
Do you stock these, or is everything cut to order?
Standard corner lengths are stocked; longer sizes and custom angles are fabricated and galvanised to order, so allow extra lead time and ask us for current availability when you order. NSW delivery is generally 5 to 10 business days.
Pickup in Sydney?
Yes, from Wetherill Park by appointment, afternoons before 3:30pm, along with any sleepers on the same order. Full post range: NSW steel posts.
