The 150 TFC channel is the end and step-down post for heavy duty sleeper walls: the same closed-back C section role as the 100 TFC, scaled up to take 100mm+ sleepers and the loads that come with taller retained heights. Lengths run from 600mm all the way to 4800mm in 200mm steps, priced from $45, all hot dip galvanised.
The 4800mm top end is what separates the 150 series in Sydney: with roughly half the post embedded, those lengths are what tall engineered walls are built from, and they are the sizes builders and landscapers ask us to quote from engineering schedules every week. For the matching mid-run post, use the 150 UC 23 H beam; for garden-height walls with 75 to 80mm sleepers, the 100 TFC channel is the lighter, cheaper fit.
Do I need engineering for a wall this size?
If you are shopping 150 series posts, almost certainly. NSW councils commonly require certified design above modest wall heights, and post size, spacing and embedment must come from that design. Send us your engineering takeoff and we will quote the full post schedule, cut to length.
Are long lengths in stock in Sydney?
