A concrete plinth (under fence plinth or UFP) is a 50 mm thick concrete strip that sits under a fence line to close the gap between the fence and the ground. It stops soil, mulch and pets moving under Colorbond or timber fencing and protects the fence base from soil contact. The Blackwood UFP comes in charcoal or plain grey, 2340 x 200 x 50 mm, sized to run between standard fence posts.

Where plinths are used

How is a plinth different from a sleeper? A plinth is thinner (50 mm) and rated for up to about 400 mm of retained soil under a fence. Anything taller is retaining wall territory and needs sleepers and posts.
