This 3mm hot-dip galvanised fence bracket is the QLD-range fitting for putting a Colorbond fence on top of a concrete sleeper retaining wall. It fixes to our galvanised steel posts and carries the fence rail, so the fence loads into the wall’s structure rather than into separately dug footings behind it. At $14.50 each it is the standard pick for Colorbond runs; the 3mm plate matches the lighter loads of sheet-steel fencing.
The bracket is hot-dip galvanised like the posts it mounts to, so there is no dissimilar rust point at the connection, and it stands up to Queensland heat, rain and coastal air.
Choose by fence type across the three QLD variants: this 3mm bracket for Colorbond, the 6mm bracket for timber fencing, and the 6mm offset bracket where the fence line sits off the post line. All fittings live under QLD steel posts.
How many brackets do I need?
Typically one per post per rail connection along the fence run. Send your wall length and post spacing and we will count them into your sleeper and steel quote.
Can brackets be welded to the posts instead?
Yes. For engineered jobs we can supply posts with brackets welded to spec before galvanising; ask when you send your schedule.
